Lattice Walls

the october/november 09 issue of lonny featured the connecticut home of kate townsend-simpson, a former editor of domino. i fell in love with the lattice walls in her dining room (and the chairs too for that matter) and have held onto these images in my file ever since:

i thought hard about doing this in my own dining room. i think it would be so cool with the walls behind painted the palest of blues peaking through the white lattice. my only issue is how open our dining and living rooms are to eachother and i didn't want to commit to lattice in both rooms.

however, i still think it would be an incredible way to spice up a room at a fairly low cost. here are some other rooms that go the lattice route:
