Let There Be Light

i thought i'd share an update on the outdoor lighting project that i talked about here. a quick recap: i found these sconces online from a company called barn light electric.

so i ordered two in the painted rosewood finish (#114 if you're interested) to install on our garage.

the picture above makes them look smaller than they do in reality which is too bad b/c puny lighting is a no no in my book.

i think they look like they've always been there, or should have been! just adds a little more character to the outside along with some much needed light. and at night it's much more inviting. i also recommend a timer switch so no remembering to turn them on and off. :)
