At Long Last

after a long, make that loooong (4 month) wait, the ottoman i wrote about in this post has arrived. i've had some "lively" discussions with ballard designs about this as i had hoped to have the ottoman for christmas. but all's well that ends well and the living room has definitely upped its game.

this picture was taken at night and the navy looks much darker than in reality. i'll try to get a day shot soon. also, imagine nice 20" pillows on the chairs made out of the same fabric as the curtains (post coming on these!) with a big R monogram and navy welting. something like this pillow:

did i mention the tons o' storage? this is the first, last, and only time it will look like this!

a couple of other vignettes from the room as well as a few product references:

above: framed imperial trellis wallpaper found on etsy (for cheeeeap). jonathan adler bookends from barnes & noble.

stirrup clock from ballard. they should love me.

blue and white balls from pier 1. jonathan adler greek key frame. he should also love me. haha

one question that is going to keep me up at night is: are the imperial trellis pillows and the ottoman too busy together? i had hoped they would get along but i'm not sure they're bff.
