Hall Bathroom Redo

very exciting news today! we have decided to move forward with the renovation job of our hall bath. i can not even tell you how much this excites me. but what's the expression? a picture is a worth a thousand words. well these should say it all:

the last picture of the toilet is a little misleading because it actually broke just before we moved in and we replaced it with a nice white one. but for effect, i thought it was important. oh and the sink which is just above it is the same finish as the old toilet so it's still valid.

things that amaze me in this space:

1. brown tile, sink, tub, and formerly toilet that someone actually picked out and paid money for.
2. light fixture (see first pic above mirror). it's also mirrored.
3. faucet and handles straight out of a public restroom.
4. cabinetry that's made of particle board (we've covered that before here).

the good news is that we have no where to go but up from here! i'll be sharing inspiration, colors, materials, and construction over the coming months.
