Project Update: Master Bedroom Windows

this week completely got away from me - sorry for the lack of posts! one quick and final update - maybe i should have waited to share my master bedroom update last week because this past weekend our roman shades arrived from the shade store. i had no idea they would get here so fast! so for those interested, my quick review:

1. super easy to order online though i wish they had more fabric options or a COM option.

2. pricey but custom roman shades with blackout and continuous loop cord just are, no getting around that really.

3. for a completely custom option - i ordered 6 shades - the manufacturing and shipping time was incredibly fast. a week and a half from clicking purchasing to them being at my house.

4. so far the finished product seems like very good quality and measurements are just what i specified.

5. installation was a breeze. once we did the first one and got the hang of it, we had the rest up in no time. you need a drill, screwdriver, and some scissors.
6. the continuous loop cord is metal and when i saw it, i freaked. it looked so ugly. however once installed, it's really not noticeable at all. very relieved! it does however make the shades fairly loud when you put them up and down.

overall i'm very happy! so here's the update to the update - finished windows!

soon i hope to have updates on all of the painting that's happening and my progress on our office/sitting room! have a super weekend. :)
