Vintage Dresser

how was your weekend? um it was 95 here. wtf?! 50 or 90 are our choices apparently. today is my first official day of 5 weeks off!!!!! i ran out of time last week to officially celebrate on the blog but i am PSYCHED!

have you ever looked at some of the great vintage furniture on etsy that's ready and waiting to be painted up and shipped out? i have 4 favorite shops and i happened to find the perfect little dresser for our bedroom at one of them.

the shop is exeter fields and the owner was really nice and super responsive to all of my (many) questions. bonus is that they're local so the delivery fee is extremely reasonable! i asked my wonderful (and awesome, loving, and handsome ;) husband if this could be my birthday present. also i told him we can swap dressers and he can put his clothes in the bigger one and i would take this one for my stuff which helped. he said yes!

this little henry link chest is going to be painted high gloss white and the pulls will be refinished in gold. she is going to be so pretty, i can't stand it!

other shops that are on my list are:

the papaya tree

transformations (also local for bostonians!) eventually i'd love to get a piece like this or the one above for our dining room.

shabby maggie is the last one but the shop looks to be down right now.
