Stair Runner

we have more snow than alaska. i swear. my driveway is a tunnel. why do people willingly live in massachusetts again? and we're supposed to get a foot more this weekend through tuesday YAY. you know how hungry angry is #hangry? well what's snow angry? or winter angry? cuz i have that.

anywayyyy let's go on to a happier note...

i'm so excited - we finally did it!! we installed a runner on our main staircase and it is so good! you may have seen on instagram already but here are a few more photos.

i love how it warms up the space and also feels safer for all of the little feet that go up and down (and up and down and up and down!). it's just enough pattern to not be boring but isn't so much that it takes over. i think it will work with whatever style (or maybe wallpaper?!) ends up in the entry.
