Nightstand Styling

last post in my little styling series this week is the nightstand and/or side table (see here and here for the previous posts). i don't have great examples of my home - guess i need to get on that! - but here is a client photo i snapped.

here is where accessories are key and turn a space from stark to lived in and homey. imagine the side table above with only the frame for example - it just wouldn't feel finished! here's some more, and pretty dreamy, inspiration too...

i said in the first post in this series that i think the moral of the story is layer, layer, layer and the spaces above prove that! i know i'll be rearranging things all weekend after this and i take full blame if you plan on doing the same! ;)
