for me, this chinoiserie room in a house in newport, ri by
meg braff is perfection. the color palette is crisp and clean and she stays true to her vision in each carefully selected piece. while i'm sure this room has been written about and blogged about to death, i will never tire of it. it has to be the closest to my own design aesthetic (i don't really say things like that) that i've seen.
from concept:
to reality:
the wallpaper is chinese lattice by bob collins. the side tables next to the sofa and the desk are
bungalow 5. i plan to do a post dedicated to other meg braff rooms but i felt this one deserved its own :)
