Pillow Whore Strikes Again!

this is a self-given name. i fully own it. but there are some exciting new pillows in my life. remember the post about my little trip to a local discount fabric store? i bought these fabrics:

well i finally have something to show for it.

(yes, that's a lot of magazines)

i looove how they turned out and it was exactly what the room needed - a shot of color.

then on a complete stroke of luck, i came across two pillow covers on etsy made from quadrille's zig zag in navy on tint. this fabric retails for big bucks. two pillows in this fabric from an interior designer could cost upwards of $300. and these were sitting on etsy for $78 for the PAIR. cue freak out dance and lots of fist pumps in the air.

oh yes, you might have noticed that pillow insert on the sofa? it will soon have a new cover as well. it's there to help judge scale. that poor sofa :(  my first-ever apartment sofa from way back when! anyway, anyone else pillow-obsessed? send me your pics!
