Nursery Addition

now that the mobiles have come down (boo hoo!) there is a big empty space on the wall above finn's crib. the mobiles were from zutano and they were awesome - knitted elephants:

so naturally we needed a replacement elephant. originally i wanted a big piece of art but freaked myself out about hanging a heavy frame (even if it was plexiglass and not real glass) above the crib so i resorted to the idea of a decal. i will be the first to admit that i am not a fan of decals. they can be reeeeally cheesy. although i did see this nursery on project nursery and fell in love with the monogram decal...

so i found a shop on etsy - popitay - that has some tasteful decals and some are even fabric. so i decided to go with this guy in grey and white (orange is pictured):
