last update we were waiting on the nightstands and had lamps on the floor. the nightstands arrived and i love them - would highly recommend. but everything was looking very horizontal and low - the lampshades, headboard, and window casing were all creating this one straight line. what it needed was some height and a softer shape. so i added the mirrors (from world market). i think they do the trick and i love the arched top. oh p.s. the bench is going out to be upholstered next week. finally, i know. i was going to do it myself but it turned out to be a little trickier than i anticipated.
also roman shades are on order to replace the home depot temporary shades. so instead of gray paper, picture this (white with navy):
i really love how this room is turning out, it makes me smile!

Love your master bedroom! So fab!
Love the pink lamps, think about pushing them to the outside of the nightstand and putting something small close to the bed. JMHO. It really helps to break up the straight lines.
