Animal Prints

i hope you all liked the gift guide - it's a lot of pressure doing one of those! you want to find good stuff, but not break-the-bank stuff so it can be realistic for everyone. at least that was my intention! anyway...

i need some more animal print in my life. everywhere i look i’m seeing leopard spotted things that i can’t get out of my head. i just saw a sarah 101 where she used green leopard on a pillow and it looked amazing (i would like to be her and shop all day with tommy!). i think using leopard in the most unexpected places is where it works best. or combined with the unexpected. like a really traditional persian rug and some spotted pillows. gorgeous! here are some favorites that i’ve gathered up…

and as fate would have it, i went to one of my regular blogs a couple of monday mornings ago, the designer's attic, and what was posted there? 15 yards of beauteous leopard fabric for $15/yd no less. i bought 3 :) it was meant to be. i have it in mind for a project in my entry!
