New Furniture

for some reason lately i've been feeling a need to update some of the pieces of furniture in our house. a few items have caught my eye.

first, have you seen jonathan adler's new happy chic collection for jc penny? it's so good. a lot pricier than i would expect for jcp though.

west elm has me weak in the knees for this storage console for our dining room. i love the marble top and the "arbor" legs. i have visions of painting out those legs a bright coral or metallic gold. the shape also reminds me slightly of our chairs. ughhh love. you can also customize it a little - pick a different top and legs.

then there's this vintage dresser on etsy that i've been visiting periodically for i don't know, the past month? :) i would love it for our bedroom. the painted union jack is right up my alley (and my husband's too) plus i like the idea of taking something old and making it look modern and fresh. it has sold now :( but it can be recreated i bet.
