sorry i've been mia! busy busy here and one of things i'm busy with is a client project!! i'm helping a family with their entry and living room and it's the first time it's a client who i didn't know personally before working with them on a project which has been really fun. i hope i can keep building this through word of mouth and of course e-design is always a possibility too!
today i'm doing more real estate stalking...this one is a 7 bedroom, 5.5 bath colonial on 1 acre built in 1826 and is actually a historic home. it's 6,200 sf and on the market for $3.6M. do you have your check book ready? ;)
pretty cool mural walls in the entry. likely what things looked like in the early 1800s!
love the beams and those floors...
this open floor plan is certainly not original to the house but it's so pretty!
and a separate guest cottage that is, of course, adorable.
it's so lush looking too now that spring is in full swing here but i bet it would be really pretty all decorated for christmas too. classic new england with this one!

my friend used to live in this house... it's not only breath takingly beautiful, but it's so historic, it actually has secret rooms in the house because it was a safe house in the underground rail road!
