Weekend Projects

this weekend involved a little bit of this:

scary, scary picture. i apologize. i am trying to show more actions shots. can you tell how genuine that smile is? anyway, painting over the yellow that formerly covered the walls in my living room. goodbye yellow.

also did some manual labor by assembling this sweet little thing:

have you used home decorators collection before? i would give the quality a B (there was a minor snafu with a missing part - nothing that a trip home depot couldn't fix) but for the price it's perfect. and who knows, maybe one day it will be painted or papered on the inside? :)

and i finally hung these prints that i talked about here and found on etsy:

and actually hanging these was the hardest task of all. no action shot here, the camera would have definitely gotten the finger.

p.s. there was also major progress on the paint front in living/dining rooms. you can catch a sneak peek in the pics above but i'm waiting to do a "big reveal." one word for the new paint: LOVE.
