first, did anyone watch million dollar decorators? i would love to know what you thought! my favorite part by far was nate playing with that black lab in kathryn's store. does it say something about the show that that was the best part to me?
anywho, to follow on yesterday's post, as soon as the mirror went up in our dining room i went on a mad craigslist search for a new cupboard. corner cupboards, especially well-made wood ones, don't come cheap and i didn't want to settle for particle board. but luck was on my side and i clicked on a link for an all-wood cupboard, two towns away, listed for $400. dimensions were perfect so i jumped on it. and even got the lady down to $350! (at first i thought this was still too pricey but then i reminded myself what something similar would cost new in a store)
(pictures from the seller's home)
i'm going to paint her out a glossy white, give her new knobs, and then do something cool on the inside. bright green? wallpaper? loving this for inspiration:
and the little corner cupboard that we had previously will find its way to craigslist. unless there are any local takers? have you had any good craigslist finds lately?

LOVE that you do all if these DIY projects! I'm scared to paint! I need you style an braveness to decorate the house we just got! It's historic too, so all kinds of 'charming' (or challenging!) spaces to fill!
Great find! Can't wait to see what you do with it!
