I Should Have Headed The Warnings...

people told me, i should have listened.

last night i got an email from rent the runway... "the dress you ordered was not returned in time by the previous customer." so the navy lace frock i was planning to wear to our family wedding tomorrow is not coming. they offered to upgrade me to any other dress for free. great! only problem is that i didn't see the email in time (they only gave me 2 hours to respond) so they ended up selecting another dress that they thought i would like.

i don't like it. i don't even want to try it on. and yes i'm throwing a hissy! here's what i would have chose to rent instead...



so buyer renter beware. i've heard that they double book the popular dresses so it's common for your dress not to be available. tips i guess are to rent the more expensive dresses that are less frequently rented - but doesn't that go against the point of this whole thing in the first place? i thought maybe i was reserving it far enough in advance that  i would be first in line. wrong!

but anyway we'll still have a good time even if i am wearing a sack ;)
